"Apple’s Face ID and Touch ID have made it easier for users to log into their mobile devices like iPhones and iPads and on some Macs offering the Touch ID button. Now Apple is bringing Face ID and Touch ID to the web. At the company’s virtual Worldwide Developers Conference this week, Apple introduced a way for web developers to add support for Face ID and Touch ID to their websites, allowing Safari users to log in without having to enter their username and password.

"I think advertising needs to fess up. Whether you’re looking at the rising cause of value chain transparency or the continuing pantomime around the major online players continuing to try and duck the responsibility that comes with great power. Few are telling the truth....a truth that their customers can recognise and to be fair advertisers have been pretty feeble in this case.
I think the EU is critical in this particularly because I don’t think the American regulators will really sharpen their teeth on their own guys. I think they’ll give them a slap but will not bite them. But the EU is the next biggest economic block in the world and if the EU regulators step in, that’s a wake up call.
On this whole issue of fessing up and transparency I think there is a lot of work to do. Blockchain technology has a lot of roles to play in the transparency thing and things like IA and human intervention…
